Mempersiapkan Keranjang Penghasilan Kedua

Pernah dengar pepatah ini gak?
"Don't Put Your EGGs in ONE basket"
Jangan letakkan telur dalam satu keranjang saja,
jika keranjang itu jatuh, telur pecah semua tak ada yang tersisa.


Intinya sih : Jangan hanya bergantung pada SATU sumber penghasilan saja, jika terjadi sesuatu yang membuatnya hilang, siapkah kita melanjutkan hidup hanya dengan sisa uang yang ada?  Itu pun syukur-syukur kalau kita sebelumnya sempat menabung dan ada sisa yang ditabung.. hiks.

Bekerja di kantor tuh bukan penghalang untuk tetap memiliki keranjang penghasilan kedua. Sibuk di kantor, gak berarti tertutup kemungkinan membangun bisnis untuk memiliki cadangan penghasilan, atau bahkan menjadi penghasilan utama suatu hari kelak. Beneran deh!

Banyak kok buktinya perempuan-perempuan pekerja kantoran tetap membangun bisnis di luar waktu sibuknya di kantor. :D Saya nih salah satunya .. cieeee. Tapi ya itu, ada konsekwensinya
  • Jelas capek dobel-dobel. 
  • Butuh bagian-bagian yang harus direlakan untuk tidak terlalu menjadi prioritas lagi, misalnya … hang out sepulang kerja. 
  • Mengganti sementara kesenangan happy hour dengan mengerjakan bisnis sampingan,
  • Tambah banyak yang harus dipikirin antara lain business plan dan strategi agar bisnis berjalan
  • Untuk yang sudah berkeluarga, nah ini dia bakal banyak ngambil waktu keluarga yg udah sedikit eh dipake bisnis pula :(
Hehe.. udah tahu gitu.. masih juga ditekuni, KENAPA coba?
  • Kesadaran bahwa saya tidak selamanya bisa bekerja di  kantor, 
  • Suatu saat nanti saya pun akan pensiun,dan yang paling PENTING
  • Saya memiliki mimpi 'kembali' ke rumah untuk mengikuti tumbuh kembang anak dan meninggalkan drama pagi hari berangkat kerja diiringi tangisan mereka.
Dan MIMPI itu harus bisa diwujudkan as SOON as POSSIBLE.. sebelum saya kehilangan moment tumbuh kembang anak yang cuma sebentar.

Itu yang kerja.. Lain lagi masalah perempuan yang notabene memang di rumah. Gak mau bahas panjang lebar deh.

Yang jelas apapun kategori kita saat ini, ada baiknya untuk mempersiapkan keranjang kedua atau sumber pemasukan cadangan. Mengapa?
Kita semua gak pernah tahu peristiwa yang akan kita hadapi di masa yang akan datang. Suami yang saat ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidup lebih dari cukup tanpa perlu kontribusi kita lagi bisa saja tiba-tiba dihadapkan pada kondisi terburuk seperti kehilangan pekerjaan atau bahkan meninggalkan keluarga lebih dahulu. Atau kita juga yang selama ini b isa bekerja tiba-tiba juga kehilangan pekerjaan. Nah, pada saat tidak ada keranjang kedua sebagai cadangan atau alternatif penghasilan, ditambah lagi jika selama ini tidak pernah nabung dan gak punya simpanan, apa yang harus dilakukan menghadapi situasi tiba-tiba seperti itu?
Jadi mau bekerja kantoran ataupun ibu rumah tangga, sebaiknya berpikir jangka panjang, untuk jaga-jaga kalo ada peristiwa buruk yang terjadi. Atau kalaupun hidup kita baik-baik saja, penghasilan tersebut bisa digunakan untuk membantu orang lain. Ya, mulailah berpikir untuk menyiapkan keranjang kedua.

Trus, bisnis apa yang cocok?

Banyak kok bisnis yang bisa dijadikan penghasilan kedua sambil tetap sibuk di rumah atau bekerja di kantor. Saat ini kan bertaburan tawaran-tawaran bisnis yang dapat dilakukan dari rumah, macam-macam bentuknya. Salah satu yang saya sukai adalah bisnis yang bisa dilakukan online. Yang penting cuma satu.. jangan salah pilih. Itu saja.

Dengan berbisnis secara online, kegiatan bisnis bisa dilakukan dari rumah sambil tetap mengasuh anak, misalnya. Jadi buat para istri yang dilarang bekerja karena harus menjaga anak dan mengurus rumah, bisnis seperti ini cocok. Atau buat mereka yang bekerja, bisnis ini bisa dilakukan tanpa mengganggu waktu bekerja karena fleksibilitas waktunya. Saya sendiri akhirnya menjatuhkan pilihan pada dBC Network. Soal kenapa memilih dBC Network, itu nanti ya di tulisan tersendiri.

Akhir kata sih, saya ingin mengajak sesama kaum perempuan untuk mempersiapkan keranjang kedua, karena terus terang lebih banyak positifnya. So, siap-siap yuk!

Women entrepreneurs have great motivation to take control of their financial incomes, to their time, to helping others, having fun and contributing in a worthwhile way

3rd Trait is Teachable - Women entrepreneurs keep learning. They know how to adapt to changes whether in technology or methodology. Their curiosity and interest to learn new tools, improving themselves or new methods which make them more effective in direct selling or network marketing. Regardless of years of experience, women in these industries are teachable, coachable, flexible and have a passion for helping others. They know how to handle and approach people with diverse personalities, can be nurturing and empathetic and love being able to earn while they learn.

How to Reach More Women EntrepreneursIf your target is female entrepreneurs, that is great news. Why do I say this? Because they are an easy group to find! If this group is your ideal client, I'm going to share a variety of methods to help you reach women business owners.

1. Visit Women's Associations

In general, entrepreneurs like to gather and so do women. That's two strong reasons why women entrepreneurs are an easy group to find. There are so many associations! For example, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), eWomenNetwork, National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), and National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) to name just a few. And new organizations are cropping up practically every day. Check out the groups in your area and attend a variety of meetings to see which ones will serve you best.

2. Become a Regular Fixture

After you attend a range of events and choose the ones offering you the most potential ideal clients, it's time to become a regular fixture. You want to be seen and be known there. To strengthen the relationship with the groups you select, you can do any or all of the following:

-Sponsor special events
-Speak to the groups
-Become a board member

3. Speak to Other Women's Groups

You can't attend every women's networking event because there are just too many of them. But to reach more of your ideal target, you can speak to groups where you are not an active member.

As you know, I often talk about how speaking to prospects is a great way to build the know-like-trust factor. It also gives people a firsthand experience of who you are and the type of expertise you share.

4. Hold Seminars that Appeal to Women Business Owners

Choose topics that you know will appeal to your target audience. Women love to learn, which is demonstrated by the fact that they purchase 75% of all self-help books. You may have to adjust the event titles and topics until you get it just right, but that's part of the marketing process.

Holding your own events allows you to establish yourself up as an expert and the problem solver women business owners need.

Your Client Attraction Assignment

Is your target women entrepreneurs? If you answer yes, I recommend that you take some time to think about how to further identify them. The clearer you get about your ideal clients, the easier it will be to find them. You might want to qualify them further with these additional characteristics such as:

-Income
-Geographic area
-Business type
-Years in business
-Number of employees
-Problems that need solving

More women are becoming movers and shakers at the top of the industry. Small innovative businesses based from home are gobbling up a huge chunk of the revenues, and the age of the average entrepreneur is slowly lowering. Although the median is still in the 40s, this has noticeably lowered in recent years and is seen to continue in the next few. And this has nothing to do with age. An entrepreneur can have lots of experience even if he can still be deemed as "young." Armed with a superb business sense, a young entrepreneur can have a great chance of making it in the big leagues and anyone can see this in any of the young entrepreneurs stories that abound our society presently.

You too can get all the experience you need to prepare yourself, and you can do this by reading young entrepreneurs stories. Don't just read them immerse yourself in their tales and learn from their experiences and embrace them as your own. As you discover their methods, do not forget about their mistakes too. The best lesson that experience provides is avoiding doing the same mistake twice. And if you already have knowledge of that mistake and still commit to it, then it's just like you did it again.
